Launch
Lens: Sigma 17-50 2.8 Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Cow Bay, NS ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: >6s Aperture: F16 

This is my first venture into long exposure photography. All feedback is appreciated.

14 minute exposure.

Very surreal, I love this!

Only possible suggestion I have might be to take a very small bit off of the left side of it? It is probably just my eyes playing tricks on me because of the slotted piece of metal on the left side, but on first glance the launch looks shifted to the right slightly.

Maybe a bit to centralized... maybe standing at an ankle to the left or right...BUT on the other hand it looks great!

Excellent. I agree with bezuidar. If the original image was cropped, I favor restoration of a bit of what's at the left.

The image was cropped. I have always tried to compose using the entire viewfinder, but lately I have been trying to shoot with either 4:5 (8x10 or 16x20) prints or 1:1 prints in mind. Frame selection is much better for these aspect ratios than for 2:3, but I do find it very difficult to compose for an image that I intend to crop.
