safe in daddy's arms
Lens: sigma 50-150 Camera: k5 Photo Location: studio ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F3.2 

I cant decide between the colour and the B/W.......



I have since fixed the very white clamp

Both are good. The colour adds more life in the picture but with a little more boldness to the B&W conversion the B&W can become quite a winner.

I would go with a slightly more contrasty B&W. But the colour one is excellent as well.

I as well prefer the color, in part because the umbilical bandage appears blown in the BW. Either way (as an old guy whose children are now getting married) the photo is powerfully evocative of those first times holding mine, and I beleive would so be even for those who haven't children of their own.

Thank you very much guys. I will give the B/W a contrast boost and see how it goes...........I am getting old now too mono............daddy held her like a precious egg........it was wonderful to watch.........

I would take B/W because I don't like those colors. I might tone it down a little, though, as the feet are almost blown.

You might want to check the white balance settings on the color image and see if changing that one setting brings out better colors. I prefer that image to the B&W, but the colors aren't quite right.
