Mommy & Christopher in the Home Studio
Lens: Pentax 55 - 300 mm zoom Camera: K100D Super Photo Location: Home Studio ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F5.6

I took a studio lighting class at a local community darkroom and have set up my own home studio in our basement using some old Novatron strobes that I bought off of ebay. The setup has two lights on the muslin backdrop an a shoot-thru umbrella at camera left with a white foamboard reflector at camera right.

My white-balance looks a little off to me I always have a difficult time dialing it in. Let me know if you have suggestions on that.

I'm interested in your critique:

Thanks,
Mark

Perhaps they were moving too fast for your shutter speed as nothing looks too sharp. There is also a purple cast creeping onto the mom's hair and baby's shirt.
