Interesting poses and her hair makes for a wild color contrast, but I feel like you are too far away from the subject and she doesn't fill enough of the frame. She also has very patchy light/shadows on her in the second picture which are distracting.

I agree you could be in a little tighter but I actually like the mottled shadows in the second shot

The second one works because of the way that the light falls -- it sort of leads to her. It also gives her contrast from the background, though only slight.

The colors are quite interesting.

Okay, okay, I'll partially retract my comments about the mottled lighting. I guess the one bit that bugged me and lead to the comment was what appears to be a blown highlight on her left arm. Otherwise I agree that it is an interesting way to light the model and will attract the eye to her.

I agree on needing to crop tighter. I would love to see the first image cropped in to reduce the presence of the right (larger) tree. The size of the tree with its branches lead my eyes out of the picture. I would keep the branch that runs over the model's head as it is a nice frame.
