Reflecting Orb
Lens: 50mm 1:1 macro Camera: Pentax K-r Photo Location: Maine ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F4

Working on combining a few techniques on this one, shot this using 20 images focus stacked, just after the sun had set, was working on capturing a sunset scene reflected within an orb

Nice colors and effect. It's a long way to the bottom of the image so I would crop about 1/2 inch off the bottom to help keep the eye on the subject.

Nice result. Indeed, cropping it a bit wold be a good idea.
Image is a little bit soft, but not enough to put me off. What lens have you used for this one?

50mm 1:1 macro, was shooting wide open at F4 due to the low light shutter speed was 2.5 sec to get a blur on the water too. Due to the conditions I was going for the softer dreamy look, as the wind and conditions wouldn't allow anything else.

Maybe a stupid question, but... How did you get the droplet image right-side-up?

Wow...didn't expect such a round drop to be sitting on the branch like that right-side-up.

The "drop" is actually a clear glass orb, placed on a branch, at first glance it does appear to be a water drop, if you thought it was a drop of water then I did my job, thanks!
