Partial Solar Eclipse
Lens: Pentax DA-L 55-300mm, Tamron 17-50mm Camera: Pentax K-x Photo Location: Northern Illinois ISO: 100 Aperture: F11

During the solar eclipse last week I wanted to try to get some shots of the landscape and the eclipsed sun at the same time. The dynamic range was huge though. This picture is a 9 stop HDR, and it still wasn't enough. The sun was still blown out too much, so I used a picture I took a few minutes later and copied the sun from that. Does this picture look too fake or overprocessed?

That is a good shot. Considering the info, the shot doesn't look fake. Your HDR looks good, as does the sun. I like the landscape too.
