IR + contrast!?

The subject is quite interesting, but the light must have been very challenging.
For my taste the processing went a little too far. Especially the strong halos around the building are quite distracting and seem to give an "artifical" look that is not really my taste.

Hi,
volley, It is true that the light a little before noon, was not ideal. These halos are the "product" of a strong sun behind the church. I was opinion that the B & W processing even more stressed this light.
Adding color photo, to see The powerful light from the background.
