Rimini sea
Lens: 18-55 Camera: K200D Photo Location: Rimini ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F11

Hello all!
What do you think about these 2 photos?
I've done at Rimini sea in Italy at 6.21 am, I'm not sure about the exposure, is 1/1250, but i was sure to put the sun in the center as it is in the solar system.
I tried to modify the photo on Paint shop, and the result is the second one.
Criticized so much!!
Thanks.

Putting your centre of interest on a third line rather than in the centre can sometimes help composition. For sunrises & sunsets you can take a reading off the sky without including the sun, then compose your shot. It will keep you from underexposing quite so much but should still give you a nice sky & a mostly-silhouetted foreground.
Not crazy about the 2nd one. It looks overdone to me, & that much blue is not really compatible with the angle of the sun. When the sun is low in the sky, you see much warmer light, & more reddish tones. Somehow the blue with that low sun just doesn't 'work' for me -- unless it was on an alien planet!

I think sunrises/sunsets really suffer when they are centered, the rule of thirds works better on them than on many other photos. I also don't think the jet skis and thing on the right do anything but clutter the shot, possibly even the fisherman on the left. I don't really care for the look of the second either, possibly between the two.
two crops that make the walking couple the subject:
