Not a fan of HDR emphasis--but I like the more subdued HDR kind of which #1 and #3 are representative. Both #1 and #3 are really good. Very well done!

Number 1 is by far my favorite. Bravo! Perhaps there would be some benefit to adjusting what appears to be a bit of tilt that's down to the left.
My second choice is number 4. I would be tempted top tone down the red "glow" in the lighthouse in number four.
I hope to see more of your photographs.
Best wishes.

I like #1,3 and 4. But the best is number 4

Very nice set. Have to agree with smf, I really like #1 but got a bit dizzy looking at it in a new tab by itself because of the apparent tilt to the left in the image.

I really like the first and fourth photograph. It occupies that border between real and unreal. Really quite awesome. The other photographs look overdone and too unrealistic in my opinion.

I like #1 all the way.. Very detailed with a natural look..Hdr is very creative here and not too much.. I also like #4 but some highlights are blown in the lighthouse...Maybe they could be saved?

#1 to me is by far the best image here, subtle HDR, good light and sharp across the board, well done!
#2 and #3 I find the flares very distracting and make it enough for me not to like those as much.
#4 is I think overall too soft and wispy, especially the lighthouse itself.
#5 is quite nice, but there is too much of the sun's area blown - which is exactly why you'd want to shoot HDR to eliminate that...

I like the 1st one a lot. Strong comp, good colors and textures with a nice natural feel to it. I often use hdr in the same way (not always as successfully as this mind you).

I'm with VTerlaky on #4--I'd like to see more contrast between the ocean and the texture of the lighthouse.

Thanks--Marcus

I like the top one a lot, it's good HDR insofar that it doesn't look unnatural to me.

1) I find the tourists a little distracting in this picture, otherwise great shot.

2) I actually really like this shot. I think it might be my favourite even with the artistic lens flare. I would consider toying with the saturation a little bit to see if it can be made a little bit more natural.

3) I'd be interested in seeing the original shots for 3. How much is HDR actually adding? There is an odd HDR artifact looks like a radioactive rock just below the lighthouse. I'd selectively go in and desaturate that booger.

4) I love this shot except what's happening with all the red on the lighthouse beacon. Is there anything you can do to fix it?

5) lovely shot. If it is possible to change the sun to only one of the shots it would look a little bit better

Best,

-Q

I am not a fan of HDR. Just can't see removing contrast from an image as a win. But #5 would make an excellent jigsaw puzzle.
