Lifeboat
Lens: Sigma 10-20 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Baltic Sea Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F5.6

Smart or just a weird angle? I canīt make up my mind on that but like that I got colours sharp and vivid right out the box. Any comments appreciated.

Agreed... I just found myself twisting my screen to look at the image.

Thanks guys! I get the verdict is "just weird". The image is indeed twisted 90dg in an attempt to give it some originality, rather than just being another picture of a lifeboat. Sometimes itīs a trick that works.

I think with the strong colours it's already a pretty good picture, doesn't need the added weirdness of the tilt.

Agree with the above, turning my head to look at it. Nice vibrant color, clean and sharp. If you want the unusual angle crop from the left over about 2/3 of the way, clone out the little bit of railing and you have a strong graphic shot with an unusual angle. The way it is with the boat davit in the shot it just looks like the photo got uploaded sideways.
Cheers

I agree about the 90 degree angle. Got a crick in my neck, but it is lovely photo.

I can see you reflection! Were you using live view?

It was the colours in them self that attracted me and got me to keep the picture in the first place. I guess the idea of the tilt comes from, and here Iīm going deep, a desire to make others see the picture as I do but not trusting them to stop and reflect on it unless something more was added.

Not a hundred percent shure I get how you see the crop done but I will most certainly give it a shot and see what comes out of it. Always love a challange. Thanks for the idea :-)
