A few pictures of NYC

The two lenses I used here were the DA 35mm 2.4 and Samyang 8mm 3.5 fisheye.


I didn't quite have the courage to get pictures of random people on the street and it was quite busy in Times Square, but after putting $2 in this guys briefcase I felt justified taking his picture

The fisheye really works for me. It emphasizes my feeling of being surrounded by the city.

I admire all of your photographs except the third one, in which the extreme tilt doesn't work for me.
If the first photo were mine, I'd probably crop out the passerby at left (although I recognize that would, regrettably, sacrifice the rip in the musician's topcoat) , and I'd consider cropping down to a point slightly above the top of the circular sign at left.

I really like the look in the trombone player's eye that you captured....very intense!
