This is a frustrating picture . I for the life of me could not get the moon clearly focused.I wanted the moon and branches to be in focus. Even more frustrating all my friends liked the picture .

I'm guessing the digital zoom is what killed it; once you pass from optical zoom to digital it really affects the quality of the image. I can see why people like the picture though; I like it, even if it is not what you intended.

Think you should try it again with Manual Focus. I really like the concept of the two subjects in silhouette .
