Landscape Pacific Sunset

This is a sunset from the beach near my house, I'd appreciate suggestions. This is straight out of the camera with no PP. Thanks

What you did right: 1. good exposure. 2. good composition: 1/3 land, ocean and 2/3 sky. 3. The horizon is horizontal.

What you can do to make your sunset great: 1. an interesting foreground and middle ground objects to attract the eyes and to convey sense of depth. 2. Clouds, clouds. They reflect the sun rays and further enhance the photo.

Since you live close to this beach, it may take several visits to find the elements listed above. I look forward to seeing more photos from you. Thank you for posting your image.
