Now that would be cool to visit. I like the 2nd shot; I imagine it would be hard to get many different perspectives. In #1 I found the tourists & the souvenir stand at the bottom a little distracting, & wonder about cropping those out? Unless you want to make the point that it is now a tourist attraction & a backdrop for selling t-shirts... which is also valid comment, I guess.

Interesting shots, the burners look like real amateur plumbing, when you consider what they do and where they've been.

Indeed. If this would have been a movie prop, i'd say they were on a tight budget

I found the tiles fascinating. Thousands of them, each made for that specific place. The skin of the ship is not hard shinny stuff, but it looks soft like you could push your finder into it. Not through it, but it would give. Looks like paper mache or some kind of padding. Maybe it's asbestos. The ship looks pretty large, but to our modern eyes trained by the size of the 747 it doesn't look huge...just pretty darn big.

They had removed the toilet and put it on display by itself. They had a docent explaining how one goes pee pee and poo poo in the thing. The most commonly asked question. I'm not going to go into detail, but doing either is pretty tricky. Probably a reason they don't serve beer up there.

There's also probably drink driving laws, that even apply up there too.
