Sample shots for a dark evening
Lens: A series Camera: Pentax K5 

Hi,
Please advise on the attached photos.

They look very underexposed. Inspecting the EXIF data for the posted images, they have all been shot 4 stops under-exposed. Was this intentional or did you have the exposure compensation accidently set to -4 stops?

Well this was my first go with a manual lens on the K5. And I changed the aperture ring on the lens to the minimum it has [think its 2.0] setting and used it. The weather was really very bad. constant rain and sleet and lots of fog. plus its taken from a moving vehicle. I liked the shades of black and grey hence the post.

If you are not familiar with use of manual lenses: assuming you were in M (for manual) program mode, did you press the Green button to cause the camera to momentarily stop down the lens and allow the camera to take an exposure reading and set the shutter speed? Via the menus you first need to assign the Green button set to "TAv" mode when in the M (for manual program setting) for this to work.
