Like to see the colour version. There doesn't seem to be enough separation between the fore ground and the main subject. It is a fairly sharp image.

It lacks context, I would like a wider field of view. I personally like the B&W rendering.

This is an un-processed wider view. It was taken at a different angle than the first photo.

The BW version is nice, but I really like the color version better. The golden (late afternoon?) sun on the wall, plus the green grass, makes a nice contrast to the weathered grey of the boat's hull. I like the colors better on the close-in shot, compared to the wider view.

I'd certainly put it on a wall :-)

I like the framing of the colour version better, but I don't dig the huge shadow on part of the building. I realize it might have been hard to avoid

I really like both versions ... is like both are telling a slightly different story ... like two parallel worlds

One thing that I think it might improve your image is to let a little bit more space in front of the boat (left side of the image) - at least the same amount of space you have between the end of the boat and the right side of the image.

Yes, the wider view is better. It's a visually powerful subject and felt cramped in the original B&W.

I was unsatisfied with the first attempt at capturing the abandoned boat. Today I went back to Semiahmoo to better capture this derelict. The spectacular sunset lit up the boat.

Forgot to show the color version of photo #3. I did not crop the top, like the b&w version.

I like your revisited. I think you will get many good shots here at different times of the year.
