#2 is the better shot IMO, with better composition and the bit of colour of the bridge, giving the image a more eerie look, combined with the lights. Although #1 have mysterious elements with the mist and flaring lights, the overall composition don't lead my eye to any particular point of interest, leaving the image a bit unfinished in my mind...something at the end of the road to which the eye would've been drawn to would've worked better, IMO

I like the first shot better, except there is a little too much glaring road at the bottom of the frame. In the second shot, If you are going to have something linear to lead the viewer's eye somewhere, it shouldn't take it to the lower back of the frame, where essentially it leads you nowhere.

I like the first one better too. I don't really mind the glowing road, though I guess you could tone it down a wee bit. I like the colours, the lines, & the way the curve leads your eye back through the picture, & makes you wonder what's up there behind those trees.
