Machinery Grumman Albatross

Here is one more picture from Airventure 2013, it is a Grumman Albatross. This was one of my more "creative" shots. Feel free to leave your thoughts, tips or critiques. Thanks.

No critique here, I think it's an awesome shot. I assume you used a tripod?

I'm giving you my opinion as a pilot and photography buff, it's AWESOME!!! The way you composed the pic just adds a sense of drama to the picture, just great. Never got to fly one of those but I'm sure it would be a blast. Great picture!!!

BethC, actually, there was no tripod involved. I just kneeled down on one knee, and got lucky with the shot.

It does look like it would be fun to fly doesn't it. Unfortunately, no seaplane rating for me yet.
