Overexposed?
Lens: Helios 44m-4 Camera: Zenit 19 Photo Location: London ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F2

I found an old Soviet Zenit 19 camera, pretty cool, but sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with the lightmeter, this Sunday it was very sunny, tipical cold and bright winter day, and I wonder if it's me, the camera, the lens or simply the light.

That photo seems okay to me. The highlight and shadow create a very big contrast (which is difficult even for modern DSLRs to meter), but I think the photo exposed the subject just right without really clipping the shadows or highlights. If you want to see more detail in the background, you will have to stop down the lens more.

I agree. To me, it looks like the subject is exposed correctly. In a situation like this, the only thing you can do sometimes is expose for the subject and let everything else fall where it will.

The exposure is okay. If you take more stop down and catch more details for the leaf and back ground it will be good.
