Moonless in the cold
Lens: DA 18-55 WR Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Val-d'Or, Canada

Hi all,
I have made some night photography last weekend. Pretty satisfied of the result. Here are my mistakes that i can guess: SR was not off, lens was dirty, kit lens not wide enough. I also think that in that -24 celcius, i don't have to bother with sensor heating up... Let me know what you think! Oops, missing a n in the title!

The lighting is nice, but the focus is a bit soft. Were you using a tripod?

Well since it was a 2 guy one snowmobile trip straight through forest i didn't bring it. I use a Pedco Ultrapod that I attached to a diamond drilling rod standing in the snow... i focused on infinity manually. It was too dark for the AK to lock on anything. Must be that, thank you for pointing that out!
