The Birds
Lens: SMC 50 1.4 Camera: MX Photo Location: Seattle, WA ISO: 400

A color film shot turned high contrast B&W in Lightroom. I'm not sure what these birdnests where, but the grey day, bare trees and perspective got my attention.

I always value input, perspective and critique and am don't get my feelings hurt very easily, so don't hold back.

My guess is they are squirrel nests for over winter. Fairly large and made of leaves.

Well that blows my whole concept!

This was taken near the locks in a section of Seattle where boats make their way from our lakes to the Puget Sound and vica versa. It's also a salmon run so there are a lot of larger water and predatory birds that hang around here for an easy meal. Which is why I was thinking birds, but you could be right. We are also resplendent with squirrels.
