One straight edit (similar to others) and another with a classic touch.

I can only imagine what this picture would look like printed at 20x30 inches on metal...

Here's a stab at it. Not in Lightroom though, it was done with a program called Sagelight. I need to get Lightroom.

Does anyone know what the vertical line in the wave below the surfer could be caused by?

It is in the original pic posted. See below:

Looks like trash being pulled up in the wave

"Looks like trash being pulled up in the wave"

I'm not refering to the small "stick" to the left of my top most arrow. I'm refering to the long vertical line that imposes itself even over the white of the breaking surf.

I like Wildmans take. Subtle Pop without the overbaked cartoon look.

I played around too and am posting it here to just so I can see how it compares. Truthfully, I think some of the other attempts are more striking.

My choice is Wildman. The rest lack the same detail. Most are are also noisy.

Pardon my posting yet another annoying edit.

I feel that the edits are all to restful in what is a very dynamic sport.

I have cropped to emphasise the height and to bring in the drama and movement to the perspective. Its just personal but I think if you break the rules you make the shot.
