I've been experimenting with light and smoke and although I dont think I'm quite there yet in regards to image quality , I would apprciate any comments/critiques/ suggestions.

EXIF intact.

I'm not going to be very critical becuase I think you are doing a great job and the pictures have a great ethereal effects with very pleasant colors

Hey Peter,
those smoke pictures are quite different from what I get to see else, and they are quite good I find.
I actually did try to pull in some shades on your #1 picture, but then it sort of shrinks, was not a good idea from my side.
I always find it hard to capture smoke, fog and similar stuff. Best to get it right straight from the camera, but it always seems to be a compromise exposure-wise.
Technically speaking, in the exif-data of #1 I see information concerning an HP monitor (using exiftool.exe).
Maybe you could say which cam and lens and which light sources you used?
And I can see some horizontal banding (stripes) in #1 and #2. This I am sure is due to compression and is not present in the uncompressed version, right?
