No I wouldn't, unless I was documenting some specific technical issue or medical illustration. It looks a lot like what I see when I only have one contact lens in.

Ok guys, my 2 cents here ! ! !

In one picture, I see what I am dreaming about when I dream of getting out of prison.

In the other one, I see the reality of my dream when I get out of prison !

I suppose it depends on if you want it all out of focus or all in focus

(I assumed you were asking about focus stacking rather than a pano' here)

If you are interested in trying focus stacking, it might be useful as an experiment. However, I suspect the resulting image will look very flat and unnatural IMHO. As an experiment, you could photograph the same scene with a P&S or cell phone small sensor and perhaps get everything in focus to see what it looks like.
