Have you tried converting it to B&W. The green cast makes it look like the white balance is off.

I could see that. I've been asked if I modified the picture, but the paint was an almost haunting green.

Here's my B&W interpretation.

I like the B&W version but what caught my eye the most is the additional detail visible when you post processed this time. There is more detail in the window on the left wall and I didn't even notice the stairs in the first version (it was there but didn't register with my eyes). The additional detail upgrades the image significantly IMHO.

Hi

The strong green doesn't look quite right to me (and I mean to me). The green seems to come streaming in from outside the window.
Would you consider distortion correction to be an option ? To me it would make the image look less crammed.
I like the image for what it is and it was shot under trying conditions. So all in all not bad.

Greetings

While I like the detail brought out in the B&W conversion, the original is best to me. Sullen, isolated, abandoned. That's what I see. I could picture a junkie or lonely child sitting on those steps. Very cool.

Here is a the B&W edit with color. Tricky due to contrast increasing saturation, but this is close to what the original color was. I actually love the B&W... I think a large scale metallic print would do it justice. Thanks for all of the input!
