Gauge

Took this yesterday and would like some feedback on it. The original picture had the whole gauge but the crop seems to bring out some more interest. Any advice would be great.

Nice low-key shot.

Very dramatic and artsy.

I would like it even more if there was just a tad more DOF.

^Thanks for the tip man, I was thinking the same thing after I did the crop. When I go back next week I'm going to try the shot again.

If I had taken that picture, I would have gone for the monochrome high-contrasty look.
