Lost In Thought
Lens: 18-135mm Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Tennessee

Just got my K-3 and so far am loving it. I'm comming from a Nikon D5100 so this is all new to me. I don't generally do B&W but thought this looked pretty good. Just looking for any advise to improve my hobby. Thanks!

Great contrast for B&W with the child's clothing making him stand out so much from everything else. Good call.

Nice shot, I love the thoughtfullness of the subject...there's something abut the light on his face though...be careful in post with contrast and shadows and highlight....would be an even more effective shot, if he was in some natural light....

Thanks phoenixvision! I try not to go over board in post, but sometimes I don't realize I have until I've already saved it and uploaded it..

And sometimes you won't know where the limits are until you cross them. I regularly crop photos too harshly or otherwise push the PP too far, because that gives me a sense of where I should stop.

It seems to me like you "overdone" it. Can you show the original? The picture is really good.

Oh... Buy more cards, perhaps? Some unique pictures should be saved as an original file.
