Nice begnnings! I love the smooth bokeh in the background...It seems you did some softening on her face in pp, which I dont think you need neccessarily, its such a beautiful image...

I have thought exactly the same, very good picture, PP a little bit in excess. Nice picture.

Gotta agree with the PP being a tad obvious on her face, still a good location and great shot.

it is not fair to ask people to judge your photo of beautiful girl.

It seems a little dark and over-processed. I think we need to see a lot more photos :-)

And if she has a sister, a few of her too...

I've never had bokeh that clean from my 35 ƒ2.4, I might have to check this out tomorrow.

Perhaps more about her and less about the background. And less post processing.

I have heard that getting in close is good, and this is proof!
My first impression was slightly underexposed, but, I like it. Not sure if it is under, but it seems right. The buildings in the back are not bright either, I suspect it was sort of overcast?
Nice shot!

What does it look like without any facial blurring?

Yeah, I've never had bokeh like that from mine either. EXIF does not show aperture but I'm guessing it must have been pretty wide open. It needs to be checked.

And she is a very lovely G/F. Lucky man.

Am I the only one who thinks first shot at sounds... wrong?

I think you could brighten her face a bit, she looks a bit underexposed (though that may be her actual skin color... hm). And either do way less retouching on her face, or way more. Adding blur never works, if you want to perfect her skin you have to go very close and clone brush the little blemishes and spots away by hand, one by one (not too much though, there needs to be some texture left).

Also, lucky you.
