Cool shot. I'm a fan of the old glass myself. I haven't strapped on a 'newer' auto focus lens in probably a year. Have you gotten a M42 adapter yet?...if not it's just a matter of time. Being able to use screwmount lenses will open the door up to some really old glass.

Actually I don't have a screw adapter. I was thinking about it till I heard horror story's of them getting stuck on the camera. Speaking of getting stuck.. both my Pentax-A 50 1.4 and my Pentax-A 50 2.0 go on a bit tighter then my 18-135. Both lens's are in great shape.. is it normal for the old lens's to be a "bit" tighter going on???

I have used only one old lens with the bayonet mount (pentax A 50/2.0) but it does feel slighly tighter than the auto focus lenses I have used. I've had no trouble at all with the adapter getting stuck on the camera...just be sure to get the geniune Pentax adapter. Don't take a chance on the cheaper imitations--those are the ones that could get stuck on your camera.

I have three A lenses and can detect no difference in mounting friction compared to my DA and FA lenses.
