Shaolen, I keep thinking about this photo and not sure what to say... on the positive note, it is nice and sharp with contrasty and pleasing color, but beyond that I am not sure that the scene looks interesting (as the part looks remotely interesting is small compare to the large portion of greens), just saying...

OTOH, the Q7 is more than capable of capturing clean, sharp and contrasty pictures.... I use my Q/01 lens in street photography more than anything else.

AS previous comment, the photo is fine technically, exposure contrast, focus etc but it is lacking, in my opinion, a prime subject. There is also the distraction of the crane tower on the right. I suggest cropping to remove this tower and much of the sky. This will then enable the positioning of the canoeists at roughly the 1/3 intersections and thus promote their prominence in the photo. I have taken the liberty to crop the image along these lines to demonstrate. Another alternative would be to clone out the tower. This would then allow a crop to include more of that wonderful sky and keep the lower canoeist in the 1/3 position.
