treetop sunset
Lens: 17-50 mm tameron Camera: k5ii ISO: 50 Aperture: F11

I'm trying to find my "photographer's voice". I may be too impulsive.
I generally pull off to the side of the road when I see something I want to capture, so I stopped and took some quick shots of this sunset and clouds over the treetops.
I added a little contrast and sharpening.
Got rid of out some uglies on the border.
Please let me know good and bad.

thanks,
Cg

I admire this as presented.
If it was my image, I would try eliminating the two small collections of branches at upper left — but not by cropping.

Thanks for the feedback smf.
Here is the rework, with those two small branch clusters cloned out.
Your observations and suggestions make this a much better presentation!
Thank you.....

I think it would benefit from a tad more shadow detail - the transition from highlights to shadows is too abrupt for my taste.

Here is another version, shadows lightened a bit. Being a silhouette, the branches start to become too thin if I take it any farther.
