Is this your dog? very nice looking. Not sure I've ever seen an Icelandic sheepdog before now.

Exposure is fine, but what aperture was used? The depth of field (focus) here is very narrow. And it seems to be aimed at eye and back. I think it would have worked better if the snout and eyes would have both been in focus instead. That is, the in-focus portion of the subject was nose to eyes instead of eyes to ears.

Also positioning in the frame.. I think there needs to be more space between the subject and the side at which they are looking. In this case, I feel the dog should be positioned more to the right in the frame -- roughly the right most eye (as looking at the image) should be where its back of head is located currently. And I'd have wanted more grass at the bottom of the frame. Bottom seems clipped to me.

Thank you for the feedback. The aperture I don`t know. (I was shooting manually with my 40 years old Tamron zoomlens). The beautiful sheepdog I had borrowed for a weekend. It belongs to my daughter in law and my son. :-)
