at the car wash
Lens: da*55 f1.4 Camera: K3 Photo Location: carwash ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/50s Aperture: F2.2

had a chance to play a bit more with the new da*55

had to wash the car so i took my camera with me, i didn't have a ton of time because the place was pretty busy, but i got a couple in. i tried underexposing a stop and then bringing the details out in post to preserve the highlights, especially with a white car.

what would you have done differently? i think i could have used a slightly larger aperture to get less detail in the background, but i didn't want too much of the car oof. i didn't have much opportunity to isolate it from the bg so this is what i ended up with.

Thanks

Hey wibbly, I really like the first picture. The angle makes the picture much more dynamic and the car looks more aggressive.

Great shots and I think these cant be done any better without some flashes and maybe better background.
