I like less beach and more sky. I prefer to the horizon not be in the middle of the composition.
I do like the timing or thought of including just a single person in the frame but maybe we need that person to be a little closer to define that subject.

I agree with previous comments regards position of the horizon but I am not too sure if more sky or more sand is the answer. Either one improves the composition. While it is good to have a person in frame, in this image all the interest is on the left. The right hand third of the frame is basically empty. Sometimes a slight repositioning of the camera can do wonders or even waiting until someone comes along to fill the empty spaces.

It does look to be a lovely spot
