Last view walk's
Lens: Pentax smc DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL (IF) SDM & Pentax-DA18-55 mm F3.5-5.6AL WR Camera: K3 ISO: 50

Here some photographs of my last view walk’s. I seem to like the more challenging light conditions. The early morning is the only time I can really spend on learning to handle my new camera and lenses. Feel free to comment, I’m here to learn.

Very good eye - don't change a thing and keep it up.

You've got some beautiful work! A bit of advice though: in the photo critique forum, it's generally best to just post one photo for review (or to post each photo in a different thread). It takes time to make a good critique, and it's easier to focus on just one photo at a time.

That said, I have a few piddling suggestions. The third picture is bisected by the tall reed to the left, and the effect is quite jarring - it's at odds with the rest of the photo for me. Angling the camera higher would have mitigated that, but I like the perspective very much.

For the 4th photo, I find the foremost left tree to be a bit of a distraction. Lines can't always be perfectly vertical or horizontal, but my eye keeps being drawn to the area to the left of the tree. I think either cropping out that space or exaggerating the slant by making it even more slanted would work.

Finally, for the 5th photo. I'm not a conformist by any means, so go ahead and put the horizon in the middle of the photo if you want! However, I think there's something to be said for a 16:9 ratio for this shot, with the bottom black being cropped. It already looks like a movie still, and cropping would just give more credence to that idea.

Your photos are beautiful and really speak to the beauty of the land. I look forward to seeing more of your work!
