Wow! Amazing falls and a really nice photo!
Was it hard to get to?

Thanks, actually it's very easy to get to (very close to Maupin, OR). There is a tiny park - semi closed now but you can get in, just need to park your car on the side of the small road, since the main gate is closed for the winter.

Very nice! I have photographed there before with poor luck, but you got that magic combination of good water flow and composition.

I really like this one, nothing like that to be found here. Great little Rainbow in there aswell to make it even more appealing.

Thank you - I got quite lucky with the weather and the overall conditions, but even though I was there quite early around 9am I'd suggest arriving there even earlier for a softer light.
Btw. I had to make an HDR from several shots because the rocks on the left side were just too shaded (almost black when exposing for the waterfall).

I would prefer to see the same image, but with the camera much nearer to the ground. It would be amazing that way.

Unfortunately there was a cliff and I didn't see any obvious path down, but I agree that it would be a nice capture - I'd be only afraid the second waterfall might not be visible from down there. I'll need to try harder next time finding a path down.

Oh I see! The perspective was misleading, I thought you were simply shooting from a tripod's deployed height. a cliff makes things a tad more difficult...

I have no problem at all with any kind off image enhancement or post processing, you can’t optimize what isn’t there and composition is done by the artist not the camera. The more I look at your photo the more I like it.
