Attempt at shooting improved macro photos
Lens: Kiron 105mm F2.8 Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Reno ISO: 100 

I appreciate all the feedback I received on my previous post. I retried shooting some more macro shots. I think these are improved over my 1st attempt.

I really love how sharp the first shot is. I like the last one, the middle one I dont think really had any details that needed macro

I agree with previous comments. #1 is just so sharp where it counts. Might I be so bold as to suggest a really tight crop taking in just the stamens. Then I think you would have a real winner. Those golden globes are a real highlight, the rest is bland in comparison.
