Hotel Bar
Lens: Q 02 Camera: Q7 Photo Location: Phoenix AZ ISO: 100 Aperture: F3.5

I just sold my 08 lens and just my luck, I get a request to do photos for a hotel. I quickly ordered a tamron 10-24mm to do the shoot on my K-01 but due to the post office acting up I didn't get it on time. So I had no choice but to use the 02 lens. It's actually surprisingly wide on Q7. Almost as wide as a DA15mm limited. Let me know what you guys think of the photo.

If it is for the hotel to use to advertise themselfs, the picture could use a bit more sparkle. Maybe up the clarity just a bit

The composition is nice.

As mentioned above, additional clarity (or contrast) might improve the image.

I'll get nitpicky about the wall at the left border. It's a tiny bit off of vertical but noticable because it's so close to the perfectly straight border. Either skew/rotate while being careful not to break straight lines near other borders, or crop a little off the left edge.

I like it... and I can feel the space around it... you did a great job with the 02 lens. I missed my Q (currently the battery is dead and stuck in the camera and I can not get it out).

I agree with the suggestions above about adding some contrast or clarity, at present the colours are a little flat for my taste.

I will try to play around with the color to see if I can get it to pop more.

I agree about upping the contrast; as the image appears "washed out"; too light. The color is fine, so just adjust the contrast.

Also DeadJohn had a great suggestion to slightly crop the left side of the print, so that the "off vertical" line is gone.

All in all, a great job of composition!

Nice use of the natural light.
For a shot of commercial property I thought it could use a bit more bling.

I agree, the composition is very good but it could do will a very slight boost in colour and contrast (just a touch). I guess this is also partly and effect of the lighting - bars often look best with lower lighting levels which is how one normally sees them.

I don't think however that it needs to be skewed at all. I think the curve of the bar runs off of the curve you mention and helps balance. Also the table in the far background is level and would get tilted if the horizon level was changed.

I took the previously comments to mind but also feel that the attention needs to directed away from the window and more into the room. I therefore lightened the back bar and darkened the window then applied some clarity and snap. Here's the result.
