Lago Comabbio Sunset
Lens: Sigma 17-50 2.8 EX DC HSM Camera: K3 Photo Location: Lago Comabbio, Italy ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 5s Aperture: F10 

Last night's sunset at Lago Comabbio, Italy. Shadows pulled in Lightroom. All CC gratefully welcomed!

You have a lot of nice colour in the sky and in the water. For me however the tree on the left is not very appealing and tends to dominate the photo. I would be tempted to cut it out entirely as well as most of the grey sky. Keeping the same aspect ration you could end up with quite a pleasant scene. I would also take out the buoy on the right, the comms tower on the left and try to smooth out the dark patch of water lower centre. Some contrast and saturation adjustments. This is what I end end up with. A nice scene, well worth some extra work in editing. Cheers.

I'd leave the tree in. Without it the image loses all sense of scale and becomes almost flat and one dimensional.
The tonal range is much too constricted to my eye - there was a lot more going on in the image than what the original shows - don't go over the top but bit more "pop" would go a long way.

With your treatment I could just change my mind. It did not occur to me to brighten it up and make a feature of it. This is a great example of different eyes seeing different things
