new to low light.
Lens: 55-300 Camera: k-x Photo Location: Mid Michigan ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F4 

I am new to low light how did i do ?

In the first one, the flag, which is not lighted and which does not make an interesting silhouette, distracts from the beautiful sky. In your second shot, everything in the foreground serves to complement the sky.

The second one is definitely a keeper. Well done!

I think more shadow detail on the main subject would help and it doesn't detract from the low light effect.
Under that lighting the human eye would have seen more detail in the flag and makes the shot, perhaps, a bit more interesting.
