Sunrise didn't happen
Lens: 18-135 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Apollo Bay Victoria ISO: 160

Went down to the boat harbour, hoping for a sunrise.
I was reasonably happy with these three, what do you think?

Exposure was different for each image, as stated;

f8, 1/45, @ 31mm

f19, 1/30 @ 18mm

f19, 1/10 @ 53mm

Doesn't look a lot like Wang, Rod. Would that be Apollo Bay harbour by any chance? I reckon I took a pic of that pink clinker boat about 8 years ago... I'll see if I can find it.

Did the pink clinker have 150mm of water in it back then?

Your filing system must be pretty good.

and don't worry about jumping onto my thread (at least you are on topic, which is more than can be said for some on other threads).

Dunno about my filing system, I just remember the pink clinker because this was a shot taken right at the start of my photography journey. I happen to remember there was a directory called 'apollo bay' in my system, so it didn't take much to find this pic. there are hundreds of directories in my system with meaningless date names, so we just lucked out that I was being conscientious back then.

I had only had a camera for a few months at this stage. I had this printed out and framed on my wall for a while, so the image stuck with me.

What is impressive to me is that I was shooting in manual mode at this early stage. I think I only had the one lens back then, the tamron 'all in one' 18-250. This must have been early in my experimentation with manual mode.
