Vertical or Horizontal?
Lens: DA* 50-135 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Weisman Museum ISO: 500 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F10

Aside from choosing one, criticize me. I want to know what's more good or more bad in your book.

I like the vertical.... Processing shows some ghosting around the dome of the larger building...?

I like horizontal, especially the way the cathedral (vertical dimension) is framed by the roads in the background and the bridge in the foreground (horizontal dimension). I think the interplay between vertical and horizontal dimensions is much more clear in the horizontal shot.

Its difficult to say, as the two versions are different. Decide what you want to show, where you want to lead the eye. Regarding focus, DoF, sharpness, colours, exposure.. the two are pretty much on the same level, so optical quality is not the differentiator between the two.
That said, between the two, I prefer the horizontal, landscape orientation.

I prefer the horizontal. The vertical version shows too much road in front of the pedestrian bridge, and boring sky above the cathedral.

The dome has a black halo around it, maybe the result of overprocessing. I also see several dark vertical streaks in the sky. It sort of looks like smoke but seems too vertical. Were you shooting through a dirty window?

I prefer horizontal because it's possible to put the footbridge into context. In the vertical shot, the footbridge is a distraction cutting across the image without being anchored at either end.
