Well someone said vertical because the fence is less visible. I think that is probably the deal breaker.

That out of focus tree in the first one is really annoying. So anything to cut that out helps. And the saturation in the greens are way too cranked up.

Thanks guys. WIth the vertical crop, the out of focus tree can become a frame working with the non-focused tree, am I not right?

I went back to the zoo a few days ago. I was able to re-shoot the Amur Leopard, not sure if it's the same one I've shot in my above post, been a couple of years.

here's my re-shot.
