Wish I knew more about photography so I could answer your questions but I know from nothing except that I really like the shot.
You might want to add the questions you had from your other post into this one so you get more responses.

That's a nice concept, well executed ! Would be even better without the spots on the glass in the background, however, and you cut the "feet" off the rightmost pepper.

I like the picture - but I also agree that the background could be improved. With the dried/weathered look of the peppers, a clean sheet of glass would be boring and trite. It could be make better if the pattern of stains was more ---- fluid -- vertical, or if the pattern would be of running water. Great shot - but the pattern on the glass is just a little too much.

Maybe you can do a little gaussian blur to take the edges down a bit on the pattern of dried drops on the glass.

Good point, the "feet" are in the original but I cropped a bit too much,

I'm going to try the blur and, if it works, post it. Now that you mention it, maybe some sheeting water on the outside of the glass would have done it. I'd restage it but I ate the peppers. Thanks, FHP

The shot is... flawless. The only thing I can think of that would improve it, is a bit more negative space toward the left. As in, more window, sill, and counter. I would also like to see the meta data for that shot, specifically the f/stop and the lens used...

This would be a great picture with a MT bottle of booze behind it maybe with a black background. Great potential. JIMBO
