Tucker Snocat at Timberline
Lens: Pentax HD Ltd 20-40mm Camera: Pentax K5IIs Photo Location: Timberline Lodge (Mt. Hood, OR) ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/80s Aperture: F8

Middle of the day (I know :/) shot of a Tucker Sno-cat at Timberline Lodge - I took a couple of quick shots last weekend during a day road trip - and this one was my favorite. I wish I was there later to have some softer sun but I still like the result - I'm curious what you think. Also first time using Color Efex Pro after the Nik Collection went free.

At first, I thought that the cut-off weathercock was compositionally a bit awkward (and possibly easy to avoid by taking a step back). But then I relented my nitpicking and appreciated the image for its beautiful colour and pop. Judicious and effective use of Color Efex Pro, steering clear of undue exaggeration.
