The Devil is in the Details.
Lens: AF Nikkor 35-80mm Camera: Nikon D70 Photo Location: Woodburn, Oregon ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8

This turned out better than I had hoped. It was an experiment getting a close up with a telephoto lens. This Takumar F 70~210 mm lens is truly amazing. I believe it is the best photography investment made to date. Again, please enjoy and feel free to offer any comments and suggestions.

Rgds,

Tonytee

Unfortunately, I have lost some sharpness and a lot of brightness upon uploading. C'est Lavie.

I stand corrected on my equipment brand.

It should read: Lens: AFNikkor 35~80mm 1:4~5.6D. Camera: Nikon D70.

You are correct, I entered the info from a different photo. Thank you.

I can edit it and change the camera to Nikon but I don't remember which Nikon. And I'd need which lens too.

I tried to change that, however I was not allowed to. I did enter the correct information in the text. Thanks again, and apologize for the trouble. This has been one of those days where I am completely muddle headed.

Thanks again, EM. Of course only I can spot the drop off in sharpness, but the loss of exposure is somewhat disturbing, because it really is nicer than what was uploaded.
Must be a way around that issue.

Tonytee

I find the best way for this site to display images is to first save them to one of your photo albums and them insert them into the post from there using the "Insert Album Photos" link on the right hand side. I first resize to 1000-1200 pixels on the long edge, them upload to the album and proceed from there.

I find this method tends to preserve the image better that uploading directly to the post through the 'manage attachments' tab. I suspect it has something to do with the resizing algorithms.

Again, I am indebted to you for the helpful information. This should prove be a real shot in the arm for sick photography. Will do it soon.

Tonytee
