Opinions on hayburners?
Lens: SMC F50 1.7 Camera: K5ii Photo Location: Reno,Nevada ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F8

The SIL likes horses. The War Department wants to have some of my wild horse images printed for her but we disagree on what treatment the prints should get. Opinions?

original to me is best! and terrific shot btw but the antique is cool and kinda gives that old time feel when horses were used like cars....

I think the original too. I don't think the sepia toned has as much impact.

Another vote for the original. The snow gives the photo much more impact, as to what animals have to contend with during brutal winters.

Beautiful and heart-tugging photo!

I also find the original the best, however I have to admit the Cyanotype does mystify me. Great job on all of them. Thanks.

First and third are my favourites....but.... only.... if they are the War Department's choice.

A vote for the Cyanotype from me, but then I'm going through a "blue phase" with my own photography just now.

I do appreciate the input everyone. #1 it is. I'll tell the Boss I was wrong. Something I have a great deal of experience doing.

Just an FYI, I have a close friend who made the mistake of referring to his wife as, "The War Department", and now she is his, ex-War Department. It cost him a lot not only emotionally, but financially as well.
