I'm a little bit country!!!
Lens: Pentax 18~55mm Camera: Pentax K100D Super Photo Location: Out in the Pucker Brush!! ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8

A decent shot of country life. I am aware that the top of the chimney was cut off, however, it does not show it that way in the thumbnail gallery. Enjoy and thank so much for looking.

I like the shot. I know where this house is and used to drive by it every month or so. The bluebonnets make it a great Texas scene.

Thanks very much Pam. That means a lot to me as I ended up building this house right after the fighting was over at The Alamo. In fact, I received many medals and citations for my actions above and beyond the call of duty. )

Have you cropped this? It feels a bit too tight with the chimneys cut off and the cow on the bottom right is to close to the edge for me.

Nice Scene

I don't mind the way you have framed this but the image feels a little over processed (HDR?). It feels like everything is trying to pop out at you.

I agree 100% with Matthew. Lovely scene and nice composition. It just feels either a bit oversharpened or over contrasted.
That said a lot of people like a photo "on edge" from what looks real - so in the end you should run with what you like.

Agree with these comments. As one who is sometimes "guilty" of over processing, I find the best thing to do is process save and then come back a few hours later and review. It is too easy to get caught up in the process and lose sight of the overall effect.

Actually, by the looks of things, I would say that it is a bull.

This image was shot just about three and a half years ago. I think I have learned a thing or two since then.

Thanks,

As far as capturing the image, I think you did as well as you could with the light that you had. It is a lovely scene but grey skies and grey light all around.

I agree that taking a step back on the processing would probably enhance the picture but otherwise nicely done.

It looks a little overprocessed for me like others said already. And I would turn around the bull, to look inwards.
I like the captured mood.
