I would say it's a good vacation memory. If that's the intent then yes, it's a good photo. Otherwise, a few things that I would consider:

The colors, especially the reds and yellows in the kids toys, seem over-saturated so toning those down would be a plus. Blues I'd leave alone.

If you could, I'd crop off some of the sky and include more of the foreground beach ahead of the boat, if you have it...

Looks like a fine place to be!

I guess its a little of both. Oh thanks for that advice. I didn't notice the reds before but will tone them down. I have another pic that does have more of the foreground but it didn't look as nice to me (I think the angle of the boat), but ill post that in a bit for you to see.

P.s. I highly recommend this little spot for anyone wanting a good beach to relax at

I agree with previous comments. I would also look at the edges of the composition. There is a red object intruding on the left, I would clone that out. Also if possible the prow of the boat us cut off. It would be well worth losing some of th sky to include the whole boat. These are small points but do detract from the image.

I wonder if this is in the Philippines? I know we, (U.S.) had a naval base at Subic Bay, Philippines. Very nice photo, and I agree totally with the helpful suggestions offered.

Thanks,

Antonio

Watch the cropping as you leave a little red blob of something on the left side of the frame. You don't want to leave objects for the user's eye to be drawn to and wonder what it is, especially something red.

I would crop off about 1/2 the sky. Clone out the red blob at left. Done and done :-)

Oh, the horizon is slightly tilted...

The saturated colors are OK with me.

If crop of the sky wo it's only a 3rd of the frame, that would help a lot with composition.

The edges are too busy. The people and the other boat is distracting for me. Otherwise the boat is good subject!

Too saturated for me. I'd tone down reds, yellow and even blues. Agree with removing some of the sky.
