Nice to look at cluster of flowers.
Lens: Nikon 35~80mm 1:4~5.6D Camera: Nikon D70 Photo Location: Beaverton, Oregon ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F5.6

I took a stroll around the neighborhood and came upon this gigantic bush with at least a gazillion flowers on it. These three managed to grab my attention, I liked what I saw and so I shot them dead. With only one shot. The flower on top appears to be a little soft, might have been a little breeze but I tend to think I just screwed up in focusing. The only PP Editing was in downsizing. Please feel free to offer comments/suggestions.

Thanks a bunch.

Antonio

Much macro or close-up photography needs a tripod.
I have myself a Pentax DF-A macro 100mm. Very nice and I love. But it focuses not always like I want it to. So I must remember to bring a tripod. And get rid of the wind.

I understand what you are saying. For the past year or more I have made it a point to shoot with a quality tripod exclusively. How does using a tripod help against wind gusts?

Go with a super fast shutter speed?

thnx,

TT

It doesn't ;-) But it helps against those small vibrations you yourself make.

Not always, as it is the aperture that gives the sharpness area.
